Charlottetown City Tour

Charlottetown is known as the birthplace of Canadian confederation. The representatives from the Canadian province (now Ontario and Quebec), Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, held a momentous conference in Charlottetown in 1864 who decided to confederate. Many heritage sites remain in the capitals allowing tourists to appreciate this influential period in the Canadian history and reflect on the impact of modern European colonial history on North America and beyond.
